And now for something a little bit different..

I am not, have never trained to be, never sold myself as a graphic designer. I am however a great fan of brilliant graphic design. A page layout that is unified, cohesive, engrossing, use of graphical metaphors, etc. I think the best graphic designers can be trained, but they have to be born a graphic designer first. Great graphic design can be simple. Ingenious. Witty. Tells you what 1000 words of prose can struggle to convey, and convey it in a matter of seconds. So, I'm not going to be putting any graphic designers out of work anytime soon. I can do not bad graphics as required for video. But as said I'm not a graphic designer. I have been asked to help a couple of folks out recently, so it's another wee string to my bow I guess.. membership cards for the Glasgow Clan Ice Hockey OSC and leaflets for Rise Residential..
